We are searching for a Kitchen Cook and accepting resumes for a seasonal job from May 16 to October 12 of 2015. This is a great job opportunity for anyone who has cooked for a bigger family or event, who knows how to prepare simple, healthy and tasty dishes as well as baking. Meals are served just like at home, everyone digs in from the table.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious, individual capable of preparing home style cooked meals, no menu serving! Person should be a team player who is self-motivated, organized with a neat and tidy appearance. Someone who is excited to meet people from around the globe. You will make lots of new friends and probably will be invited to visit and explorer different cultures around the globe.
Safe Food Handling Certificate is required. Courses taking place in various towns and cities every spring!
Living accommodation can be provided and combined with the wage/salary. Additional benefits for employees, use of the property hot tub, saloon and some horseback riding on availability is provided and included in your wage.
Have a hearty breakfast ready to be served at 9 am every morning. Prepare lunches (sandwiches, wiener roasts, wraps etc., for daily take outs. Guest will take most days lunches with them on the trails. Some days (rainy or cold days) lunch has to be served at the ranch. Have supper prepared and ready to be served for 6 or 7pm variating on daylight hours. You should expect to cook from 4 up to 25 people at times. There is no menu cooking, you can be creative with meal planning, you have to expect grocery shopping (45 minute drive), setting tables, keep your work area and appliances clean, main dishes, kitchen laundry, etc.! You can always expect some help from our seasonal helpers!
